TREASURERÕS REPORT
Jim Davis submitted the TreasurerÕs Report as of April 3, 2006 (see attached). He reported that baseball deposited $2939.00 in additional funds, for a total of $6409.00 to be credited towards the baseball loan. We have not received the bill for the baseball equipment as of this date. Crab Feed will report later, funds are coming in.
OLD BUSINESS
SITE COUNCIL Ð Julie Kaufman reported that measure A funds and requests
were reviewed at the 3/13/06 meeting. Requests are more than funds available
and she presented a request of two PE/Sport items needed for the weight room, that were on the Measure A request list. An adjustable weight bench and flat bench for an approx. total cost of $1100.00 was requested by the PE department. The Athletic Boosters voted unanimously to provide funds to purchase the needed equipment. The largest request of Measure A funds were for desks to replace broken desks and some classrooms still do not have enough desks, this was discussed and Julie will ask how many more desks are needed by classes and report back to Athletic Boosters in May. Kellye Dykeman suggested that Athletic Boosters think about contributing additional funds for needed student desks.
See attached for additional Site Council notes and items.

Candidates are being reviewed and will be interviewed. No candidates have come
forward for BoyÕs soccer as of this date.
Boys JV Soccer- only 1 uniform has been turned in, this has been a difficult process And Mario has delivered bills to each player and no response. This is a problem every year and this past season Varsity purchased their own uniforms to avoid this problem.
TRACK/FIELD UPDATE Ð Mario Balestrieri reported that the rain has caused delays, but the track/field is looking good. Once it is completed practices will be limited on the new fied. Tim Cody for the district wants YV to hold off on sponsors on the new scoreboard. We can add sponsor information after the scoreboard is installed. Mario will keep us posted on the scoreboard status.
SPIRIT WEAR Ð Roger Havens has returned all unsold items to the storage locker and gave Julie Kaufman the key. Julie gave the key to Don Morrison so he can put the baseball caps in the locker. An inventory will be done of all items in the storage locker will be done in the next several months.
NEW BUSINESS:
REQUESTS FROM TEAMS Ð Nathan Vaserhely from GirlÕs softball was in attendance and requested funds for a net (cost between $529 to $729.00 plus
Tax and shipping) to be installed on the new batting cages installed by the
District.
A request for reimbursement was also made for the following:
6 game balls $32.41
5 Helmuts $162.32
5 chin straps $17.81
The Athletic Booster board voted unanimously to set aside up to $1500.00 to pay
for the net, reimbursement of the above items and for the softball storage shed
to have a new bar welded onto the shed (to prevent vandalism) and a new lock installed.
Mario Balestrieri mentioned that the swim team needs a container for storage
at Pleasant Hill Middle School. Mario is trying to get the contractor handling
the Track/Field to give us back one of the old containers. They have not
responded to his request.
CRAB FEED REPORT:
Gregg Syrovatka reported that 231 guests attended and the committee had to purchase 250 spots. The Crab Feed went well and it appeared everyone in
attendance had a good time and the Crab was good this year. The original goal was to raise $27,500.00 and the actual raised was $18,975.61 (see attached Profit/Loss report). Gregg will hold a meeting and would like Athletic Boosters involved to discuss this past Crab Feed and decide the future of the Crab Feed.
Julie will forward the meeting information to the Athletic Booster Board once
received from Gregg. BlakeÕs already stated that next year we would have to pay per room. We might consider a change of food and place.
